Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television shows. She is an Afghan American actress that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her home country the family relocated into the US. She was given asylum, and were allowed to remain. She was raised by her two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career being featured in numerous National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role in Chiara an appearance for which she was awarded a film festival best actress nomination. A few of her TV roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Recent roles include the role of a supporting character in Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009).
